1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2nd Gen Cummins Battery Cable Set
We’ve come up with what we believe the best solution to these trucks! We start with the highest quality wire we can find, tinned pure marine grade oxygen free copper. We also use pure zinc military style terminals, for the best possible conductor, and they’re built to last as well as add on as many accessories as you’d like. We use a 2/0 cable for the starter supply wire, and a 12 AWG starter solenoid wire. Everything is tinned copper lugs, with adhesive lined heat shrink, and loomed in protective techflex. We also provide a fiberglass heat shield covering the starter cable for even more protection. All wire covering is also heat, water, and oil resistant. Guaranteed to never corrode! We upgrade all of the grounds as well. Passenger side ground to block is a 1/0 cable, and the ground to the fender is 4 AWG. On the drivers side we upgrade the ground to the frame to 1/0, as well as the ground to the block. Then the fender ground is also 4 AWG. We also upgrade the crossover cable to 1/0 as well, and the power feed to the fuse box is also upgraded to 4AWG. These kits offer a huge improvement over factory cables. You’ll experience more consistent voltage, longer battery life, and quicker charging. Your entire electrical system will thank you!
